MD&A acts especially but not exclusively with the healthcare industry, namely with healthcare providers such as hospitals, clinics and other type of institutions. We work in the development of efficiency projects, change management / organizational transformation initiatives, organic and or acquisition growth projects, leading to reachable and visible increments in value creation, starting from a very short term. The guiding principles of MD&A in these projects are on one side quality and satisfaction of the end customer of the client organization and on the other side the efficiency of the operations of the client organization.

KEY PROJECTS

Transformation of health and safety provider within a large private healthcare group and integration of its activity and operations with the work accidents activity in order to generate synergies and having as a result a substantial improvement in EBITDA and market position starting early on with a group of quick win initiatives implemented during development. The project comprehended the design of new value propositions for two priority segments that were selected, in-depth organizational restructuring with the definition of new requirements, the assessment of existing profiles and the concretization of organizational changes.

Preparation of healthcare provider (full fledge hospital) for sale with the coordination and the development of the entire operation, including elaboration of info memo and data room, design and implementation of negotiation process end to end.

Development of a healthcare strategy for a financial institution with unique characteristics and customer base, starting with the launch of one of the most differentiated health plans in the Portuguese Market, with usage rates far above benchmarks and expectations from the onset of the project; development of a value creation agenda and road map for the healthcare strategy, including the development of an ecosystem of strategic partnerships.

Restructuring and strategic and operational redefinition of a reference private hospital in the second largest healthcare market in Portugal; definition of a value creation agenda and implementation plan; structuring and management of a PMO to support the project.

Development of autonomous business unit for elderly care working both for private clients, insurance companies and the public sector.
